This Spotlight Goes to Our Executive Advisor: Arnav Rajdev

What has motivated you to want to be a part of the sports industry? 

I believe sports is such an all encompassing industry and offers something to everyone. The games themselves embody teamwork, strategy and culture. The cities these sports teams are in rally around these organizations in a way that other events struggle to do. That is why being apart of this industry is such a goal for me: sports offers something for everyone both professionally and personally.

What is your biggest dream? 

To work in analytics for the Atlanta Falcons

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? 

Keep developing your skills and evolving

If you could describe yourself in 3 words, what would they be and why? 

Creative, Motivated, Diligent

What is one of your goals for GWSBA this semester?

To continue to help grow the organization into other disciplines across campus

What do you enjoy most about GWSBA? 

It is a really great community for people who love and are passionate about sports

How have your professional experiences impacted where you are today?

 They have helped shape my interests and career goals. My experiences have given me a better sense of how professional organizations run and how they harness the power of data to make informed decisions.

What is one thing we should absolutely know about you? 

I would do almost anything for the Falcons to win the Super Bowl

What is something you would tell your younger self right now? 

You are in for a lot of heartbreak as an Atlanta sports fan, and to take life one day at a time.

If you could meet one athlete in any sport, who would it be and why? 

Matt Ryan because he has been one of my favorite players on the Falcons and he was the first sports jersey I have ever owned.
