Sachin Khashu
PRESIDENT
Sachin Khashu is the President of the GW SBA and a senior from Brooklyn, New York. Khashu is a big fan of anything New York sports related, with the Rangers and Yankees being his top teams. In addition to the New York theme, his favorite sporting memory is the 2024 New York Knicks playoff run. For the GW SBA, Sachin's goals include leading business and sporting initiatives while providing resources within the GW community and the DC area. His aim is to make working, learning, and playing in the sports realm inclusive and accessible for everyone.
Some highlights of Khashu’s vast experience includes serving as the President of Finance for the SBA from 2022-2024, working as a Basketball Data Analyst with the George Washington University Men’s Basketball Team, and managing a podcast for the WNBA. We look forward to a successful academic year under Sachin’s guidance and business proficiency!

Mark Rappaport
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Mark Rappaport, a junior from New York City, is the Executive Vice President of the GW SBA. As a passionate New York sports fan, Rappaport avidly supports the New York Mets and Knicks. His favorite sports memory was attending the 2019 World Series in D.C. For the GW SBA, Mark is dedicated to enhancing networking opportunities and professional events, as well as engaging activities for students.
Rappaport is pursuing a double major in political science and data science. Mark’s experience includes his current role as the lead manager for the GW Baseball Team, the Registration Manager for the 2024 SINC Conference, and as the 2023-24 Social Media Officer for the GW SBA. He has vast experience in sports, including three years at the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he worked in journalism and game day operations. If given the opportunity, Mark aspires to work in analytics for a Major League Club.

Madison Koetz
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Maddie Koetz, a sophomore from Scottsdale, Arizona, will be serving as the Executive Vice President for the GW Sports Business Association (GW SBA). A dedicated fan of the Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Cubs, one of Maddie’s fondest sports memories is attending the NLCS games in Los Angeles with her stepdad, where the Cubs faced the Dodgers. Madison was born in Ohio and grew up with the Blue Jackets, but her stepdad introduced her to his childhood teams, and they spent countless weekends watching the Cubs, Colts, and Pacers.
In her role, Maddie is committed to using the association’s funds to plan engaging and informative events, enhancing GW SBA’s presence across the university. She focuses on allocating finances for membership recruitment and retention. Outside of her academic and GW SBA responsibilities, Maddie is studying international business with a concentration in sports management. She is a part of the Undergraduate Consulting Group as a media officer and an avid member of Women in Business. She is also a Women in leadership alumni and now a mentor to girls in the GEB cohort.

Amy Powell
VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE
Amy Powell is a rising junior studying Business, Sports Management, and Marketing Analytics. Amy is our fall Vice President of Finance and is looking forward to optimizing membership and engagement by utilizing our funds to create fun, memorable events. Amy is from Manhattan, which is why her favorite teams are the Giants, Yankees, and Knicks. Her favorite sports memory was when the Giants won the Superbowl in 2012! She vividly remembers her and her family rushing to her balcony and seeing an instant brigade of celebratory sirens in the streets as the Empire State Building displayed a red and blue light show.

Siddharth Lalwani
VICE PRESIDENT OF COMMUNICATIONS
Siddharth Lalwani is the Vice President of Comms of the GW SBA and a senior from Los Angeles, California. Lalwani is a basketball fanatic and die-hard Laker fan, whose favorite sports memory is Kobe Bryant’s 60-point final game. With interests in Sports Business, Real Estate, and Marketing, he has been an active member of the SBA since 2022 – having attended the 2023 NYC Trek and volunteered at the 2024 Sports Industry Networking and Career Conference, hosted at GW.
Lalwani is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business and is an active member on campus, concurrently serving as a Mentor for the Real Estate & Finance Alliance (REFA). His goals for this year include planning the two-day NYC trek, coordinating SBA podcasts, newsletters, and campus-engaging posts, and organizing events for the GW community to engage in the world of sports.

Nathan Manilow
BLOG EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
Nathan Manilow is the Editor-In-Chief of the GW SBA Blog, and a rising sophomore from Chicago, Illinois. With experience in writing and editing for both his high school and college newspapers, he also co-founded the football Instagram account NFCNORTHREPORT that has over 25,000 followers. A devoted Chicago Bears fan, his favorite sports memory is Howie Kendrick's 2019 Game 7 World Series home run against the Astros.
Manilow is currently pursuing a major in political communications, while simultaneously seeking minors in criminal justice and business. For the SBA, Manilow aims to showcase student sports and business writing on the SBA website, help grow membership, and organize events. A fun fact about Nathan is he can name every country in the world!

Zach Brody
VICE PRESIDENT OF ALUMNI RELATIONS
Zach Brody is a sophomore from Westport, Connecticut, who will be serving as the Vice President of Alumni Relations for the SBA. Zach got his start in the professional sports world as a play-by-play commentator for Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN2. In his past experience with the SBA, Zach has worked at the 2024 Super Bowl in coordination with the NFL, Wasserman, and various other organizations. Zach also served as the Round Table Coordinator on the 24 SINC Leadership Team, and was an active member of the SBA Podcast team.
Outside the SBA, Zach serves as the Executive Producer of GW-TV’s Unstoppable, is a play-by-play broadcaster for the GW Athletic Department and the school radio station, a member of the GW Ultimate Frisbee Team, and a cellist for the GW Orchestra. Outside of GW, Zach serves as an Advance Associate for the Harris Presidential campaign. Zach is a dedicated New York Knicks fan who was thrilled to attend Game 5 of their playoff series against the Indiana Pacers. He also roots for the New Orleans Saints, and is a dedicated owner of his Fantasy Football Team.

Tia Reese
VICE PRESIDENT OF EVENTS AND MEMBERSHIP
Tia Reese is a rising Senior who will serve as the Vice President of Membership and Event Coordination. She is from Ashburn, VA but has spent time in Idaho, Texas, Utah, Arizona, New York, Russia, and Poland. Tia is a big fan of the Washington Wizards, Dallas Cowboys, and Tottenham Hotspur and even got to tour Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last fall. She’s worked at the 2023 PGA Championship as a customer service representative, a customer service lead at the 2023 US Open, a Sales Intern for DC United, and most recently as a volunteer at this year’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas. Tia is looking forward to increasing the SBA’s participation in next year’s Super Bowl by making the trip more affordable and feasible for members to attend.
Tia will graduate with a degree in International Business in the spring and enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, exercising and is a brother of the Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity on campus. A fun fact about her is that she has been to 29 countries and her family currently lives in Bangkok, Thailand.

Luke Brosi
SOCIAL MEDIA OFFICER
Luke Brosi is the Social Media Officer for the GW SBA and a rising sophomore from York, Pennsylvania. Luke’s favorite sports team is the Baltimore Ravens, and his favorite sports memory is watching sports games with his dad. Brosi’s experience includes managing a sports memorabilia auction site with over 2,000 followers, and being an integral part of the 2024-25 GW Barstool team. His goals include enhancing the SBA’s social media presence, as well as connecting more effectively with students interested in getting involved. Luke’s fun fact is he grew 14 inches during high school!

Jack Salvatore
SOCIAL MEDIA OFFICER
Jack Salvatore is from Mahwah, New Jersey and is a sophomore at GW. Salvatore is an avid fan of Notre Dame Football. He aims to rejuvenate the SBA social media platforms and attract as many new members as possible. Salvatore is an only child and ran the instagram and social media platforms for the SINC conference in 2024. In addition to his role at the SBA, he is the social media chair for the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity for the upcoming academic year.

Diego Hart
PODCAST MANAGER
Diego Hart is a rising junior from Ponce, Puerto Rico here at GW. Diego will be serving as this organization’s Podcast Manager for the upcoming year. He is a big fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, having attended a game last season at Capital One. His enthusiasm for sports started quite early in his life, discovering a liking for basketball –mostly. His goal as Podcast Manager would be to captivate and further engage sports enjoyers within our university.
Throughout grade school, he dedicated himself to music, while enjoying playing a multitude of sports –all things consistent to this day. Also, a big appreciation for photography and plans to see the world.

Madison Collins
DIGITAL AND CREATIVE OFFICER
Madison Collins is a rising junior from Atlanta, Georgia majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Sport Management and Marketing. She is serving as the Digital and Creative Officer for the Sports Business Association where her goals are to convey the spirit and the message of the organization through the creation of graphics for events and social media related announcements.
Madison is a sports enthusiast who enjoys following the Atlanta Falcons. Her favorite sports team is the Atlanta Falcons, but her favorite sports memory is when the Atlanta Braves won the 2021 World Series.

Alejandro Aguilar
GRADUATE OFFICER
Alejandro Aguilar is the SBA Graduate Officer for 2024 - 2025, and a 1st year graduate student. Hailing from Lima, Peru, his favorite team is the local club Alianza Lima, with his favorite memory being their championship in the Peruvian soccer league in 2022. In the sports world, Aguilar has helped vitalize sports marketing within Peru, serving as a Brand & Event Coordinator for Alianza Lima and helping promote the team. As Graduate Officer, Aguilar plans on improving the SBA by attracting other graduate students to join, as well as give them the opportunity to have a platform within the sports business realm.
