What has motivated you to want to be a part of the sports industry?
My entire family has ties to sport. My father, uncle and grandfather are former olympians and all of them followed careers connected to sports. This always motivated me to keep sports connected to my life as well.
What is your biggest dream?
To feel like I have accomplished something meaningful to amateur sports in Brazil.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Don't be too harsh on yourself.
If you could describe yourself in 3 words, what would they be and why?
Hard working, fun and organized. It's hard to explain why but during my life experiences I learned that facing any situation this way seems to be the best to get to get where you want to and in the best way possible.
What is one of your goals for GWSBA this semester?
To assist people in creating real networking opportunities. My background is in Law, so transitioning to a completely different industry was a challenge. Helping others walk the same path as I am.
What do you enjoy most about GWSBA?
The events. Getting to know students, faculty and alumni. People in general. Learning about their backgrounds and experiences is how I believe people can truly learn from each other.
How have your professional experiences impacted where you are today?
Most definitely. All my professional experiences were crucial to getting me where I am today. From my experience with law to working with children at a tennis social project in Rio de Janeiro and some time I spent with FIVB. All these steps lead me to this amazing Sports Management program so I can bring this knowledge and help create a sustainable amateur sports program in Brazil.
What is one thing we should absolutely know about you?
I will always bring positivity to any interaction!
What is something you would tell your younger self right now?
If you follow what YOU truly want, it’ll benefit you in the long run.
If you could meet one athlete in any sport, who would it be and why?
Kevin De Bruyne, arguably the greatest midfielder of all time.
