What has motivated you to want to be apart of the sports industry?

Growing up I played sports and my dad always had the Cowboys games on during football season. I picked up on it and continued to play soccer, so it all just stuck with me. When it came to choosing my major, I knew sports was what I enjoyed and where I should aim to be.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to broadcast a full NFL game.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Always work hard and believe in yourself, because you can do anything you put your mind to.

If you could describe yourself in 3 words, what would they be and why?

Hardworking, determined, and caring. I will always put my best foot forward and give out the best of me. I will never leave anything half finished, everything I start I will finish. Once I get attached, everything matters to me!

What is one of your goals for GWSBA this semester?

One of my goals for SBA is to grow and expand the SBA blog. I want to have all sorts of posts up about all the different things happening in sports.

What do you enjoy most about GWSBA?

I enjoy how welcoming the organization is. When I first got involved, neither my major nor my year was a concern, they welcomed me right in and I loved that.

How have your professional experiences impacted where you are today?

They have definitely pushed me to work harder and get more out there. Because of my professional experiences, I have gained confidence in my work and courage to find more opportunities.

What is one thing we should absolutely know about you?

During the pandemic, I picked up on baking and now I absolutely love it! I can make some bomb sugar cookies!

What is something you would tell your younger self right now?

When getting to college, it is okay to be scared, but push yourself to get a bit out there! You never know what might happen.

If you could meet one athlete in any sport, who would it be and why?

I would want to meet Canelo Alvarez from boxing. To get to the level of fame he has had is incredible to me, because of how hard it is to make it into the boxing world. I want to hear his story on how he got where he is today and everything that has happened behind the scenes.
