This Next Spotlight Goes to Our Co-Executive Vice President: Ben Stasium

What goals do you hope to achieve for the SBA this year?
I hope to plan and execute a successful NYC trek for our members.

What is the best piece of advice you have received?
There is no substitute for experience. Whether its a dream job or a casual conversation with an other professional, you never know where you'll be able to apply something you learned.

What are three things you value in your life?

I value my time to relax, my education, and most importantly, my family & friends.

What athlete has inspired you the most?

Tom Brady. As much as I would have rather him retire a Patriot, he was always a great role model for an athlete growing up in New England.

Where do you hope to see yourself professionally in 10 years?

I hope to be working in the golf industry in a representation, tournament operations, or marketing role.

Why do you want to work in the sports industry?

Sports have provided me with a large majority of my friends and positive experiences throughout my entire life. I want to use my positive experiences to be someone that helps create more opportunities for anyone who may not have had access to the sports world.

What motivated you to get involved in the SBA?

Being involved with SBA is the best way to surround yourself with passionate sports business minded individuals and I am constantly learning when interacting with peers.

What do you consider your biggest strength?

I believe my biggest strength is being able to have insightful and engaging conversations with anybody.

What part of SBA are you most looking forward to this year?

I am looking forward to recruiting and meeting new like-minded students to join SBA.

What is one thing we absolutely need to know about you?

I am always down to talk golf, Boston sports, and Capitals hockey.
